Altea & Benidorm
Trip to Altea and Benidorm

Altea: The Jewel of the Costa Blanca

Altea is often considered the most beautiful town on the Costa Blanca, a true Mediterranean paradise that enchants visitors with its whitewashed houses, cobbled streets, and breathtaking sea views. Nestled on a hillside, Altea’s old town is a picturesque labyrinth of narrow alleys, stone staircases, and charming plazas, all adorned with colorful flowers and traditional ceramics.

The heart of the town is the Plaza de la Iglesia, home to the iconic Parroquia de Nuestra Señora del Consuelo, easily recognizable by its stunning blue and white-tiled dome. From here, visitors can enjoy panoramic views of the Mediterranean coastline. Altea is also known as a hub for artists and creatives, inspiring painters and writers with its unique charm and bohemian atmosphere.

Beyond the town’s cultural and historical beauty, Altea boasts beautiful beaches where visitors can relax under the sun or take a dip in the crystal-clear waters. The town’s restaurants and tapas bars offer an authentic taste of Spanish cuisine, making it a perfect destination for food lovers.

Benidorm: the New York of the Mediterranean

Benidorm is one of the most famous tourist destinations in Spain, known for its skyscraper skyline, vibrant nightlife, and beautiful beaches.

Benidorm boasts some of the finest beaches on the Costa Blanca. The two main beaches, Levante Beach (Playa de Levante) and Poniente Beach (Playa de Poniente), are long stretches of golden sand lined with palm trees.

Benidorm’s skyline is dominated by high-rise buildings, earning it the nickname “Manhattan of Spain”, “Beniyork” and even “New York of the Mediterranean”.
