Alquezar & Zaragoza
Alquezar – a place where time seems to standstill. Its village, declared a National Monument in 1931 and its urban centre, declared a Historic-Artistic Site in 1982, give you the feeling of entering another century. Besides, Alquezar is well known for its wonderful walking route, which leads you through the spectacular canyon of the river Vero. So explore the prettiest village of Huesca and the beautiful nature of the Sierra de Guara in the Aragonese Pyrenees at once!
Zaragoza – Spain’s fifth-largest city and home of Francisco de Goya, one of the greatest Spanish painters of all time. It is a city rich in history, in which Christians, just like Romans, Jews and Muslims have left their mark. Visit the symbol of Zaragoza, the Basilica del Pilar, declared a Mudejar art World Heritage Site and actually Spain’s largest baroque temple and enjoy an amazing Kayak ride on the Ebro river – there is enough to do and see!
Alquezar
History has left its mark on this beautiful place. In the ninth century, Alquezar was originally founded by Sheikh Jalaf Ubn Rasid. But then, in 1083 it got conquered by the Christians – so when we stroll through Alquezar’s streets, we will find a mix of both religions and feel like we travelled back in the time.
Hiking Route: Walkway of Alquezar
On this walking route, one of the most popular in the community of Aragon, you will have the chance to enter the canyon of the Vero River and get impressive views of the Sierra de Guara – an essential site of the Aragonese Pyrenees. It is a circular route of medium difficulty, about 13km long, including 3km of walking along a footbridge.

Zaragoza
Zaragoza – Spain’s fifth-largest city and the capital of Aragon is known for many impressive monuments like the Basilica del Pilar, the Church of San Pablo and La Seo. Besides, it is a place of Mudejar art and festivities like the main festival of Zaragoza. Home of the famous painter Franciso de Goya, the city also offers a cultural route to honour him. You are more interested in sports and adventurous activities? Then take the chance and enjoy a kayaking ride down the Ebro river! See more information below.
Kayaking in Zaragoza
Explore Zaragoza differently and take the canoe to see the city from the riverside. The ride offers perfect views of monuments like the Puente Pabellòn, the Puente de Piedra and El Pilar.
The activity takes about 3 hours and starts in the evening at around 5 PM. It costs additional 32€.

In order to travel and enjoy safely we will have to follow these protocols to travel with VLE / Wexcursion. First of all, if you feel some symptoms like fever / cough / respiratory problem you should not participate to the trip. Use of a mask will be mandatory at all times on the bus. The bus will be sanitized before and after each service. Before boarding the bus, temperature control will be done. We will give you a disinfecting wipe so you can safely clean your seat. Do not print a ticket to avoid handling paper, show us the QR code on your mobile or just tell us your name and surname. During the guided tour everybody will wear the mask.

Important & Cancellation policy
Up to 3 weeks (21 days) before refund of 80% of the total amount.
Up to 2 weeks before (14 days): 60% of the total amount
Up to 10 days before: 50% of the total amount.
After 10 days, we cannot refund any money unless it is due to government restrictions. If you are late to the meeting point, we will not refund your money and you will lose it, The program is designed with a lot of experience and guides but there may be changes due to traffic, weather or a better alternative (we will inform you by mail and WhatsApp group). The amount of the reservation and the activities are not refundable.
