Trip to Altea & Calpe

Altea is often described as one of the most picturesque towns on the Costa Blanca, long admired by artists and painters for its charm. Its old town is a delightful maze of whitewashed streets, while its coastline offers both pebble beaches like Playa de la Roda and sandy stretches such as Cap Blanc. Overlooking the Mediterranean and framed by the Sierra de Bernia mountains, Altea is a perfect mix of seaside beauty and cultural inspiration.

Just a short distance away lies Calpe, another coastal gem in the province of Alicante. Its most famous landmark, the Peñón de Ifach, is a towering limestone rock rising dramatically from the sea. A hike to the top rewards you with breathtaking panoramic views, but if you prefer a slower pace, Calpe also offers golden beaches and a charming old town to explore.

With a history that stretches back to ancient times, Calpe invites you to discover its past through the ruins of Roman baths and remnants of its medieval quarter, all while enjoying its vibrant Mediterranean atmosphere.
