Barranc de l’infern

Barranc de l'inferno

Barranc de l’inferno – an abrupt and spectacular ravine located in province of Alicante. By crossing the river Girona, it became the most important canyon for the practice of canyoning in the Valencian Country.
The hiking route is also called “The Cathedral of Hiking” – possibly because of its more than 6,800 stone steps.
This moderate level circular trek, will take us to cultural and ecological heritage, through the type of dry stone, cave paintings.
Also, the richness of the area’s landscape is complete with avencs, four caves of great speleological interest.
