Calpe & Peñon Ifach
Calpe & Peñon de Ifach

Calpe is a charming seaside town nestled on the Costa Blanca in Alicante, Spain. Best known for its dramatic landmark—the Peñón de Ifach—Calpe combines natural beauty, rich culture, and coastal charm. This towering 332-metre limestone rock rises from the Mediterranean Sea and serves as a striking symbol of the region, attracting thousands of nature lovers and photographers each year.

The town itself features golden sandy beaches, a vibrant promenade filled with restaurants, bars, and boutiques, and a historic old town with narrow, winding streets full of character. The Peñón de Ifach is not only a breathtaking sight but also a designated natural park, offering a scenic and moderately challenging hiking trail to its summit. Along the way, visitors can enjoy diverse Mediterranean flora and fauna and take in panoramic views of Calpe’s coastline and the sparkling sea.

Whether you’re an avid hiker, a beach lover, or simply in search of authentic Spanish charm, Calpe offers an unforgettable experience for every type of traveller.
