The Font Roja was the first natural park in the Valencian Community in 1987. You can find the greatest biodiversity in this Natural Park in the whole community, with more than 2400 cataloged species. La Font Roja is a special bird protection zone (ZEPA) and a place of community interest (SCI).
The view of the deciduous forest which is above 1200 m is simply breathtaking. You can find many type of trees there like maple tree, Valencian oak or holm oak. What makes the forest even more beautiful is the autumn colors. Font Roja is a worth visiting national park not only because of its beauty but also the fact that it is an environmental heritage.
Trip Itinerary
08:45 - Departure from Valencia
Please be 10-15 minutes before at the meeting point: AVENIDA ARAGÓN 31 (In front of Mestalla)
11:00 - Arrival in Font Roja
Once we arrive, we will have time to eat together before the route
11:30 - Start of the route
We will hike on ruta amarilla
13:30 - Lunch time
Around 13:30-14:00 we will stop for having lunch together
16:30 End of the hike
Once we complete the route, we will have some drinks together and take a rest
17:30 - Return to Valencia
We will meet on the bus and return to Valencia, where we arrive around 19:30-20:00
