Come with us on a hiking tour of medium difficulty level and conquer two of the highest points of the Comunidad Valenciana – El Teix (1,264m) and Montcabrer (1,390m). Our professional mountain guide and coordinator will guide us along the circular trail of 16km, with 943 meters of elevation.
Besides enjoying some good exercise in a wonderful landscape and rewarding yourself with fantastic views, you will discover why this route is also called the “Ruta de les Caves”. We will start the tour in Agres with a steep ascent – you should be physically fit or have some experience in hiking to fully enjoy this trip.

Trip Itinerary
09:00 - Departure from Valencia
Please arrive 10-15 minutes earlier at the meeting point: AVENIDA ARAGÓN 31 (In front of Mestalla)
10:30 - Arrival, Coffee and Hike
Arrival in Bocairent, where we will have a coffee and continue to Agres for the hike.
11:30 - Start of the hike
We will meet our guide and start the hike – let’s do this!
13:30 - Arriving at the top & Break
More or less at 13:30 we will be on the top and we deserve a break – do not forget to bring some food with you!
18:00 - The end of the hike
We will finish the track at around 16:30. You will have enough free time to grab something to eat or drink and relax before we will head back to Valencia at 18:30.
What to bring
- Suitable shoes for hiking
- Water (minimum of 2 Litres recommended)
- Food (there will be no supermarket or similar establishments close by, so please bring with yourself enough to eat)
- Sunscreen
