Madrid & Toledo

Madrid & Toledo

We will start the trip in Madrid. Madrid is the current capital of our country, so it is a must see when you are in Spain. Madrid has many faces and many things to do and see so you will never get bored.

Madrid is an artistic city: you can find world-class galleries here such as Prado or Reina Sofia, but many art lovers return here every year to admire the buildings on the streets.

Madrid is a culinary city: the city has transformed into one of the richest culinary capitals in Europe and the center of Spanis’ gastronomic revolution, while keeping the traditions as well. Eating in Madrid is a true pleasure.

Madrid is a city for nightlife: the city has more bars, pubs and clubs than any other city in Spain. Everyone will find their own taste here.

To cut a long story short, you will love Madrid for the first sight because it has a special vibration, a special atmosphere.

The next stop is Toledo. Toledo, on one hand, is known as a city of three cultures because, throughout history, Christians, Jews, and Muslims have lived side by side and each religion, culture left a mark on the streets and buildings of the city. Its historic center has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1986. Toledo, on the other hand, is known as the Imperial City because it was the capital of Spain between 1519-1563.

Toledo is a city that the traveler cannot leave without looking from its viewpoints, going up to its Alcázar, getting lost in its narrow streets or watching the sunset from the Puentes de Alcántara or San Martín.
