Soft golden sandy beaches, crystal clear waters and views of the impressive Papa Luna Castle: this and much more are waiting for us in Peñiscola. Let us enjoy the beaches voted as the most beautiful in Spain by Antena 3 for two consecutive years. We will stroll through the ancient streets leading to the spectacular castle, which overlooks the bay from the top of the hill and enjoy an amazing view.

Peñiscola is a place rich in history with a medieval old town, picturesque streets, whitewashed houses, sensational beaches and a sea that will enchant you. It is considered one of the most beautiful towns in Spain and offers you the chance to combine relaxing at the beach with a cultural visit to the Templar castle of Pope Luna. This medieval castle enjoys spectacular views over the town and the bay and has been the official residence of Pedro Martínez de Luna y Pérez de Gotor (Papa Luna). 

You can also feel as if you were part of a film by visiting the magnificent locations where scenes from the famous Game of Thrones and “El Cid” sagas were filmed.

Additionally, there are 2 optional activities possible: Visit to the Peñiscola castle and Visit to Badum factory + Paella Show cooking.

Trip Itinerary

9:00 AM - Departure
Please be 10-15 minutes before in the meeting point: AVENIDA ARAGÓN 31 (In front of Mestalla)
11:00 Arrival
We will arrive around 11:00 and have two guided tours: A Spanish one at 11 and an English tour at 12. In your free time, you can visit the city and the castle.
14:30 Lunch and Beach
You will have enough time to have lunch and to enjoy the beautiful beach.
18:30 Leaving to Valencia
We will meet at 18:30 on the bus and return to Valencia.

Cancellation Policy: Up to one week before the excursion 100% refund in the form of money or voucher for other excursions. Until Thursday (20:00) of the same week of the excursion 100% refund in the form of a travel voucher. After Thursday, no refund.

COVID-19 Safety Measures:

In order to travel and enjoy safely we will have to follow these protocols to travel with VLE / CoAcad. First of all, if you feel some symptoms like fever / cough / respiratory problem you should not participate to the trip. Use of a mask will be mandatory at all times on the bus. The bus will be sanitized before and after each service. Before boarding the bus, temperature control will be done. We will give you a disinfecting wipe so you can safely clean your seat. Do not print a ticket to avoid handling paper, show us the QR code on your mobile or just tell us your name and surname. During the guided tour everybody will wear the mask.
