Elche

Elche, UNESCO World Heritage Site, also called the Oasis of the Mediterraean is a charming city in the province of Alicante that you have to include in your Costa Blanca bucket list. What makes this place unique and unforgettable is the number of palm trees you can find in 2,5 km long Ruta del Palmeral (Palm Grove Route) starting and also ending in the Huerto de San Plácido Park full of interesting plant species of plants. The domain of historical centre is Basilica de Santa Maria with its baroque entrance that was remodelled in the 17th century.  

Santa Pola

Santa Pola, another outstanding costal city which guarantees many beautiful Blue flag beaches. The Blue Flag is a certification that promotes safe environment and sustainable tourism. One of the symbols of this town is The Cape of Santa Pola, often used for paragliding but its main use is to protect the bay from the strong wind. In this area you can also find The Salinas, important element of salt industry in Spain. Strategic place in Santa Pola is port area which used to be important maritime trade center.

Trip itinerary

9:00 Departure from Valencia
Please be 10-15 minutes before in the meeting point: AVENIDA ARAGÓN 31 (In front of Mestalla)
11:00 Arrival at Elche
We will arrive around 11:00 and take a short break
11:30 Guided tours in Elche
After the break we will divide in two groups (English and Spanish) for the guided tour. If you are not interested, feel free to explore by your own
13:00 Explore Elche and lunch time
Once the guided tours finish we will be able to explore the beautiful city and have lunch. The coordinator will recommend you the best places
15:00 Leaving to Santa Pola
Please be 5 -10 minutes before at the meeting point before the leaving time
15:30-18:00 Arrival at Santa Pola
You will get the chance to visit one of the best beaches with view on Isla Tabarca, Lovely Faro and the beautiful city center
18:30 Leaving to Valencia

COVID-19 Safety Measures:

In order to travel and enjoy safely we will have to follow these protocols to travel with VLE/ WEXCURSION. First of all, if you feel some symptoms like fever / cough / respiratory problem you should not participate to the trip. Use of a mask will be mandatory at all times on the bus. The bus will be sanitized before and after each service. Before boarding the bus, temperature control will be done. We will give you a disinfecting wipe so you can safely clean your seat. Do not print a ticket to avoid handling paper, show us the QR code on your mobile or just tell us your name and surname. During the guided tour everybody will wear the mask.
