Known for its magnificent, steep cliffs with the breathtaking views of Benidorm and the meditterranean sea, the Serra Gelada Natural Park amazes even the hardest visitors. Legent has it that its name, ” Serra Gelada” (Ice Mountain), comes from the fishermen in this area, who used to resemble it with an iceberg when they watched it from the sea under the moonlight. Because of its height, 439m above the mediterranean sea and its limestone protected fossil dunes, Sierra Helada is “a must” in the coastal area of Spain.

Benidorm is also known as “the New York of the Mediterranean”, as it is the second city after Madrid which has such a big number of skyscrapers. Not only can you enjoy the spectacular views from the serra Helada mountain with its protected natural environment, but you can also have a walk around taking amazing pictures, take a dive into its never-ending sandy beach or just drink a cocktail and enjoy the sun!

9:00 AM Departure from Valencia
Please be 10-15 minutes before in the meeting point: AVENIDA ARAGÓN 31 (In front of Mestalla)
10:30 Arrival
We are arriving at our point and start preparing for the route.
11:00 Start Hiking
We are going to start on the route
13:30 Lunch Break
Time to have a bite and gain some strength for the rest of our beautiful route.
16:30 End of the route
Time to explore spanish New York
19:30 departure to Valencia
At 18:00 we will leave Benidorm, heading to Valencia.

COVID-19 Safety Measures:

In order to travel and enjoy safely we will have to follow these protocols to travel with VLE / Wexcursion. First of all, if you feel some symptoms like fever / cough / respiratory problem you should not participate to the trip. Use of a mask will be mandatory at all times on the bus. The bus will be sanitized before and after each service. Before boarding the bus, temperature control will be done. We will give you a disinfecting wipe so you can safely clean your seat. Do not print a ticket to avoid handling paper, show us the QR code on your mobile or just tell us your name and surname. During the guided tour everybody will wear the mask.
