Imagine a sunny Sunday afternoon at Mercader, one of Valencia’s most vibrant and charming spots. Surrounded by international friends, the lively hum of conversations in multiple languages, and the irresistible aroma of global cuisine, it’s the perfect setting to connect, converse, and unwind.
Every Sunday from 20:00, join us for a unique networking event in Valencia. Whether you’re a local, traveller, digital nomad, or new resident, this is your chance to:
Don’t miss out on Valencia’s favorite Sunday meet-up for language lovers and foodies alike. Come hungry for food, connection, and conversation!
*We recommend dressing appropriately for the occasion, as the venue has a more sophisticated atmosphere. No flip-flops or sportswear, please. See you for a fun and educational evening!*
At the mayority of the exchanges, you will need a lineyard + card on which you can write down your name, native language and the language that you want to practise/speak. You can search through this card on which language you would like to speak with others. You can always ask our crew if you have difficulty finding another participant who speaks the language you would like to practise.
All our language exchanges are free, we do ask for a deposit of €1 for the lineyard + card (you can turn it in before 10 and you will get your money back or you can keep it for the next exchange)
All the languages can be spoken during our language exchanges. Usually there is a great amount of participants who speak English, French, German, Italian and Spanish. Sometimes other languages can be spoken if both native speakers and language learners are present during the exchange. In some exchanges, some participants speak Portuguese, Chinese, Russian or Dutch, for example.
Everybody is welcome at our language exchanges. We do not divide people into groups according to their proficiency. Proficiency is not a determining factor during the learning process of foreign languages. If you like practising, learning and speaking new languages our exchange would be a great fit.
