Greenway biking & Salto de la Novia

Experience the Adventure of the Ojos Negros Greenway
Enjoy a fun downhill cycling journey along the Ojos Negros Greenway, one of the most scenic and beginner-friendly routes in the Valencian Community. Starting in Barracas at 1,000 meters above sea level, this 42-km path winds through beautiful landscapes, historic bridges, old train stations, and long tunnels.

Cycle past the picturesque town of Caudiel and finish in Navajas, famous for its impressive mansions and the breathtaking “Salto de la Novia” waterfall. Once a mining train track, this gentle downhill ride is ideal for anyone who loves cycling and exploring nature at its finest.

Programme

Departure from Valencia

We meet  in front of Mestalla (Avenida de Argon, 31)

Arrival to Ragudo

We will have 30 minutes of rest and 30 minutes to organize the distribution of the bicycles and the security protocols and then, we will start the route.

Then, back to the bikes!

We will gather to follow the road to Salto de la Novia.

18:00 - Heading back to Valencia

After a beautiful day, it is time to go back and head to bus to Valencia. We meet at the bus 15 minutes beforehand.

How can you book the trip?

You can book our events/excursions on our website (www.expatsvalencia.com) or at our office in Plaza Honduras 26, from 9:30 – 14:30

Do I have to book in advance or can I book on the day of travel?

Yes, it is necessary to book in advance, as we cannot guarantee that there will be places available on that day.

What are Expats Valencia's cancellation policies?

  • Cancellation & Refund Policy

    Up to one week before the event: 100% refund, either in cash or as a credit voucher, based on your preference.
    From one week to 72 hours before: 100% refund only as a credit voucher.
    Less than 72 hours before: No refunds.
    In case of a medical emergency or force majeure (with valid proof), or due to weather conditions, the event will be rescheduled, or the credit voucher will be issued for use within one year.

    Proof of emergency must be submitted before the event. No refunds after the event.

Where does the bus leave from?

Normally our buses leave from Avenida Aragón 31 (Mestalla). However, after booking, you will receive all the details with the ticket by email (please check your spam folder in case you receive the email immediately after booking).
