Everyday
Join our day trip to Isla Tabarca !

Discover the charm of Isla Tabarca, a small but stunning island in the Mediterranean Sea, just off the coast of Santa Pola, Alicante. Once a refuge for pirates and later fortified by order of King Charles III, Tabarca boasts a rich history dating back to Roman times. Today, it’s a peaceful destination known for its crystal-clear waterscolorful marine life, and protected marine reserve—the Tabarca Marine Reserve, the first of its kind in Spain.

Ideal for snorkelingdiving, and exploring, Isla Tabarca offers a perfect mix of natural beauty and cultural heritage. We’ll travel by bus to Santa Pola, where a scenic catamaran ride takes us to the island. Spend the day discovering quiet coves, charming streets, and the island’s serene Mediterranean atmosphere—an unforgettable escape on the Costa Blanca.

Itinerary

Departure

Departure from Valencia in front of Mestalla (Avenida de Aragon, 31). There are 2.5 hours of bus from Valencia to Santa Pola.

Arrival Catamaran

We arrive in Santa Pola. We will have a small break in the middle of the trip to go to the toilet and change clothes. When we arrive, we will take the catamaran (that will be 30 min of boat) to go to the island.

Arrival at Isla Tabarca

We arrive and discover the island. We will snorkel in the crystal clear water. We think this is one of the best activities to do in Tabarca. Besides that, we walk around the village, visit its lighthouse and tower and take pictures of the city and its beautiful streets.

Departure to Santa Pola with the catamaran and head back to Valencia with the bus

Again 30 min of catamaran (Tabarca-Santa Pola) and 2.5 hours of bus (Santa Pola-Valencia)
