Optional Activities

Caminito del Rey

Once known as “The Most Dangerous Walk in the World” before 2015, Caminito del Rey is now one of the safest hikes in Spain. However, it’s still not for the faint of heart, especially if you have a fear of heights. This thrilling wooden path is suspended high above the river, with breathtaking views and a dramatic drop of up to 700 meters down to the gorge below. A must-see adventure for those seeking an adrenaline rush and stunning natural beauty!

Hiking Mulhacén

Pico Mulhacén is the highest peak in the Spanish peninsula, standing at 3479 meters, and the second tallest in all of Spain (after Teide in the Canary Islands, at 3715 meters). Located in the stunning Sierra Nevada Natural Park, this hike offers breathtaking landscapes and panoramic views, with snow often visible even in June. It’s the perfect opportunity to bond with new friends amidst nature, create unforgettable memories, and enjoy a day of adventure and camaraderie in the great outdoors.

The Cities

Granada
Granada is a city rich in culture, offering stunning views of the iconic Alhambra from the San Nicolás viewpoint. Stroll through the charming Albaicín neighborhood, wander along Darro Street (arguably the most beautiful street in the world), or visit the majestic Cathedral of Granada and the Royal Chapel. For ultimate relaxation, unwind at the Hammam Al Ándalus Arab baths. Add a visit to the Alhambra, Spain’s most important monument, and you have a trip that’s hard to beat.

Seville
Seville will leave you in awe with landmarks like the Plaza de España and the breathtaking Cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Discover the spiritual heart of flamenco and enjoy the finest tapas in Spain. Explore the largest Gothic temple in the world, climb the Giralda for panoramic city views, and visit the incredible Alcázar, a palace unlike any other. Top it off with a tapas tasting in the Barrio de Santa Cruz – it doesn’t get better than this!

Córdoba
Córdoba, known as the city of the 3 cultures, is a must-see in Andalusia. Explore its historic center, filled with monuments, hidden corners, and delicious food. Marvel at the stunning Mosque, relax in the Patio de los Naranjos with its spectacular view, and visit the Medina and Alcázar de los Reyes. Don’t miss Plaza de la Corredera, arguably the most beautiful square in Spain. And while you’re here, be sure to try the region’s signature dishes like Salmorejo as you bond with new friends on this unforgettable journey.

Málaga
Málaga blends sun, beaches, and glamour with a rich cultural heritage and delicious, affordable food. As the capital of Costa del Sol, Málaga is one of Spain’s most captivating cities. Meander through the historic center, visit the Alcazaba and the Picasso Museum, and admire the Mudejar Tower and Archbishop’s Palace. Enjoy a glass of wine and tasty tapas in the city’s lively terraces, then unwind on one of Málaga’s stunning beaches. The perfect mix of culture, food, and relaxation awaits you!
